“As Barre moves forward, it will carry with it the legacy of the Barre Community Relief Fund as a reminder that even when disaster strikes, the community’s unity can become a powerful force for change.” –Shannon Alexander, Barre Area Development Marketing

When the catastrophic and historic flood hit Barre, it gravely affected multitudes of businesses, homeowners, and people living and working in the area. The Barre Community Relief Fund was established to help raise money for assistance in recovery and rebuilding. Their endeavor is to raise as much money as possible to benefit countless small businesses, homeowners, and individuals across the Barre area. Given the scale of the current devastation, a great need is anticipated, and they are fully committed to aiding those in distress.

As Barre moves forward, it will carry with it the legacy of the Barre Community Relief Fund as a reminder that even when disaster strikes, the community’s unity can become a powerful force for change. Barre’s story is one of resilience, compassion, and the unyielding bonds that make it more than just a place, it’s a resilient and united community.
