Hapgood General Store & Eatery is a purveyor of quality dry goods, local produce, meat and dairy products, prepared sandwiches and meals to go, après-ski fare including Vermont cheese and charcuterie boards, craft beers and Aqua Vitea kombucha on tap, wood-oven-fired pizzas, focaccia and bread, fine wines, basic household provisions and penny candy. J.J. Hapgood has served the historic village of Peru, Vermont, since 1827 and continues to serve its community in a newly rebuilt store helmed by Juliette & Tim Britton.
