It’s hard to believe, but the summer is almost over! Before fall officially commences, join us in savoring the last, lazy sips of summer, with this wonderful cocktail recipe from the Farmhouse Group family of restaurants. The Farmhouse Group supports the development of local food systems by offering inspired dining experiences in our community. Depending on the season, about 2/3rds to 3/4ths of their food dollar is spent on food grown, raised, and produced here in Vermont.

About this recipe

The cocktail, Mulo by the Beach, is coming to you from the Beverage Director of the Farmhouse Group restaurants, Alex Moran. This minty, pleasing and lively cocktail has been featured on the Pascolo Ristorante menu in various forms and is always a customer favorite. Pascolo Ristorante is located in Burlington.


Makes 1 cocktail

- 1.5 oz Dark Rum (we use Goslings) 

- .75 oz Strega

- 6 fresh Mint leaves

- .75 oz fresh lime juice

- top with Ginger beer

Shake all ingredients except for the ginger beer, top with ginger beer, garnish with a lime wheel and mint leaves and enjoy!
